Rare Retro Sunkist California Oranges Advertising Poster
This item appears to be at least partially hand painted if you look closely you can see the brush strokes on boys face and hair. Based on the technique it appears to be a watercolour but that is only my best guess.
Poster advertises a free recipe booklet which is great retro touch.
This item was purchased from an art collector estate in California.
The owner’s family had ties to orchards and fruit growers in California.
Note there are some condition issues on the poster such as mild staining due to the age of the paper, also due to the item being encased in plastic for some time there are some tape marks on the back. Some corner creasing noted in photos as well.
