    5. company ran tennis tournaments in NH in late 1800s probably made contact with NH Maine Native Americans to make these snowshoes
    6. very nice antique condition
    7. nothing broken
    8. front curved ends have surface splits,
    9. frames are bent oak, laces gut or rawhide
    10. red wool tassels mostly worn away
    11. these are called Huron or beaver tails
