    Description

    18" x 14" Paper Mache mask
    We bought this mask in Venice where I grew up. There are many cheap imitation masks sold for tourists in Venice and I made sure that I shopped from the real "artist". This is a very light paper mache mask. One of a kind.
    We hand carried the mask back from Venice. We spent Euro 310 (=0)
    The mask is signed on the inside: "FATTA  A MANO", which means "HAND MADE", Venezia (Venice) and Casanova (which it is the artist name).
    The mask is also beautifully hand painted and the metal work is really done well.
    It is
    painted with acrylics, and embellished by gold-leaf, Murano Glass,Burano Lace and stucco decorations.
    We just moved into a new house and we don't have room for this mask.
