Show of hands: how many of you have erred while trimming skins? My hand is up. It's hard, especially if you don't do it all that often. The Contour Offset Hybrid cutter should take care of any and all erroneous skin cuts, leaving you with the perfect offset and ready to go hit the skin track. Simple, easy to use, and simple, the Contour Offset Hybrid cutter is ideal for the Contour Hybrid skins, but will mainly work on any skin thanks to the sharp blade and relatively fool-proof offset guide. Simply lay your skins on your skis and use the tool to get the perfect cut. Another show of hands: whose skins have underperformed as a result of a poor trim job? My had is up again. I usually try to do these things by myself, and if I don't have the right tool for the job, my work suffers. It's like this with anything I do, but when your uphill performance is directly and negatively affected by using the wrong tool in the wrong manner, it's about as frustrating as it gets. This frustration is compounded when the result isn't seen until you're half-way up the mountain and your skins start sliding because you didn't get the offset correct. You need some edge showing, but not too much of the base. Not enough edge and you're sliding on the side hills. Too much edge or base and you're sliding on the straights. Either way, getting the cut wrong is bad news, so you should have the right tool for the job, and for trimming skins properly, the Contour Offset Hybrid Cutter is the way to go.

Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately.
