While before, most kids skins were made by cutting down adult skins, in which case a lot of the material was simply wasted and thrown in the trash. Now, with Contour's Basic Kids Skins, you get all you need with none of the waste. This makes an already pretty expensive sport a bit more palatable when it comes to its relation to the sport of skiing as a whole. Skinning is a difficult endeavor, but Contour is making it a lot easier for younger skiers to get involved, and since skiing at the resort is such a great family activity, it makes sense that the backcountry aspect of the sport should be equally, if not more, family friendly. It's active, fun, and amazing to get out there and access either your home mountain or some distant hills that you've had your eyes on. It's a totally wholesome activity that does require a bit of work and equipment, but when you've shredded that peak that's only accessible via skin track, you'll know that the reward was in the process the whole time.

*Returned skis that have been mounted are subject to a 20-25% restocking fee. If you are unsure about keeping the skis or your boot size we recommend shipping the skis & bindings unmounted.
Where to Find Your Boot Sole Length (BSL)
The boot sole length is not your foot size or boot size; it is a millimeter measurement of the boot shell. Ski boot manufacturers emboss this measurement into the plastic shell at the heel or under the arch. The number will fall between 255-365mm for an adult ski boot. This number will be greater than your mondo boot size (
eg.
a mondo size of 23.5 commonly has a BSL of 275mm). Please include the “mm” unit to indicate that the number given is the BSL and not the mondo size. Without this precise manufacturer's measurement, we cannot mount your skis.
If we are given incorrect mounting info, the buyer will be responsible for any remounting or restocking fees.
Binding Check:
Buyer is responsible
for taking Ski + Binding to a certified ski shop before use to make final adjustments and do a safety release check.  We do NOT set DIN levels.
Product Availability
Our eBay store shares much of its inventory with our family-owned retail store in Stowe, VT and sometimes our inventory is not accurate due to purchases made locally. If you purchase something that is sold out, we will try our best to find you a suitable replacement item. Any payment for an item that is not available will be refunded immediately. Keep in mind that weekend purchases are not finalized until Monday due to our eBay Department schedule.
