20" All Composition Shirley Temple Doll

Description

This auction is for a 20” Shirley Temple doll. Currently downsizing my collection and wish to find her a new home.
She has a honey blonde Mohair wig; brown tin eyes that sleep. Some of the lower painted eyelashes have faded, but mostly intact. Nicely painted facial features; open mouth showing 6 teeth and an all-composition body that retains most of the original patina. She is marked: Shirley Temple; Cop / Ideal / N&T (on back of head); and Shirley Temple 20 (with an asterisk) on the upper back torso.
Costume Style: She is wearing a yellow, green, orange and brown plaid dress with pleating all around the dress. This is a variation of the dress she wore in "Bright Eyes" when she sang "On the Good Ship Lollipop." Dress is also trimmed with yellow on the edge of the sleeves and on the peter pan collar. Short, puffed sleeves with a white cuff also trimmed in yellow. A yellow silk ribbon ties in front at the center of collar. Dress is tagged by Ideal. She wears a newer onesie and replaced oilcloth shoes with new nylon socks. Please see photos.
Condition: Her original wig was washed and restyled into new curls. Lower lip has been touched up and right eyebrow has a repainted outer edge. There is the beginning of compo crazing.
From a smoke free home. She will come with her doll stand.

Shipping
: This item will be shipped within 1-2 business days after receiving payment. Once the item/package is in custody of the carrier, I cannot guarantee that it will be delivered according to eBay's shipping/delivery calculations--they are estimates only. Additionally, I'm not responsible for the poor handling of the package during shipment. I pack very well to insure safe delivery. I charge a small handling fee to help with the cost of shipping materials used when packing antique dolls. If you wish to add insurance, please contact me before making payment so I can add it to the invoice total. Sorry, I do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii, nor do I ship internationally, so no international bidders please.
