    BEAUTIFUL 18" SHIRLEY TEMPLE DOLL
    MARKED IDEAL N&T CO, COP
    This wonderful Shirley Temple composition doll is 18" tall and was made by the Ideal Doll Co. in the 1930s.  She seems to be perfect with only a couple of rub spots at the top of her back legs and the top of her arms.  There is no crazing, cracking, chipping or any other flaws that I can see.  If nothing else, then she has been restored very nicely.  Her eyes were shattered but someone had colored black pupils in both eyes.  Her dress is original and has the original tag on it.  Her onsie seems to be original and I even think that her socks and shoes are original to her.  Her mohair wig has the original curls still intact.  Her stringing seems to be pretty tight.  She wears a pin-back button that reads "The World's Darling Genuine Shirley Temple Doll".
    There are a lot of Shirley Temple Dolls for sale now but she definitely stands far above the majority of the ones I have seen on Ebay!  She will certainly make a wonderful addition to anyone's doll collection.
